Dalness Estate

Location: Dalness House, built in 1884 and recently refurbished to the highest standard, provides modern living whilst retaining much of the traditional Scottish Highland Estate character. The imposing Victorian Lodge is a house for all occasions and all seasons, where guests can choose to relax in comfort, or enjoy a variety of outdoor pursuits.

Sitting in an enviable river-side position in the midst of the spectacular scenery of Glen Etive and Glencoe; Dalness Estate extends to 13,000 acres, boasts five Munros and offers a wide range of outdoor activities.

In contrast to the remoteness of many Highland Estates, Dalness is surprisingly accessible, just 17 miles from Glencoe Village and 32 miles from Fort William. Glasgow Airport is under 2 hours and Edinburgh Airport just over 2 hours away.

Services: Dalness House has recently been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, and now presents elegant and generously proportioned accommodation for up to 14 guests. Extensive refurbishment work, together with contemporary fixtures, fittings and all modern luxuries, have brought Victoriana into the modern era without losing the traditional feel and charm of the Highland Lodge.

The entire house will belong to you and your guests during your time with us, so you are able to fully relax in the comfort that the house has to offer.

The inviting and stylish formal drawing room, with its open log fire, is the perfect place to unwind after the day’s activities and enjoy pre-dinner canapes, an aperitif or a glass of after dinner whisky.

Style & Luxury: All seven bedrooms at Dalness are spacious and benefit from high-end furnishings; including king-sized double or over-sized single beds, with Egyptian cotton bedding. Every bedroom at Dalness also has a modern en-suite or dedicated private bathroom; with either a walk-in overhead rain-shower or a deep soaking bath – or in some cases both.

There is underfloor heating throughout the Lodge, along with a large well-equipped laundry and drying room for all your wet-weather gear. Throughout the Lodge, the walls display an extensive collection of original Scottish artwork.

The house is only ever let on an exclusive basis, so the privacy of our guests is guaranteed.
